1. No one else will.
2. Seriously you'd be like the only one.
3. Imagine the fun telling people that this isn't just a Kia but a really expensive Kia.
4. You'd be driving a Kia.
5. Still driving a Kia.
6. Trying to convince people that you're not going through financial difficulties because you're driving a Kia.
7. Trying to justify spending $60k on a Kia.
8. Crying because you spent $60k on a Kia.
9. Getting hate mail because you bought a Kia.
10. Kia.

Won't devalue either since he won't be able to sell it once he's done with it!

But Doug can call Kia's press pool and get a free K900

I really want to read about him trying to explain this purchase by using the phrase, "It's basically a Korean Lexus LS." just to know how people react upon hearing those words.

Sounds about right to me

A commendable suggestion for sure. But I would still be more interested in a 25-year old Japan market-only import. There are a few cars in there that would be absolute gold mines for articles. I'd read probably one article about a K900.

Stop giving Doug reasonable advice.

A 90s LS400 would be better, because it's still a Lexus. That's a Kia.

He should wait and get a used one from Carmax, because warranty.
